A 20-year old man died the other night in Lake Elsinore when the driver of a pickup truck he was in lost control on a curve of the road, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Three other men in the truck were injured. The accident closed the freeway for more than four hours. Another truck crashed into the pickup after it rolled and came to a stop.
The accident is under investigation and officers do not believe that alcohol was a factor in this fatal crash.
If you are the passenger in a vehicle that is involved in an accident and you are injured, contact an experienced Riverside Personal Injury attorney who can investigate your case to determine if you can be compensated for your injuries, medical expenses and pain and suffering.

A 45-year old Corona woman lost control of her SUV on Interstate 15 and caused it to roll over.
Reports indicate that she did not notice that traffic in front of her was slowing down until it was too late. She swerved to avoid a crash, causing her vehicle to roll over several times, ejecting her and throwing her onto the dirt shoulder. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her 7-year old son who was in a child-safety seat in the back was not seriously injured.
The fatal accident is under investigation to determine what caused her to lose control. Questions have arisen as to whether she was wearing a seatbelt or if there was a product defect in the vehicle. If a product defect caused this fatal accident, the auto manufacturer could be held liable for her wrongful death. If the accident was caused because of the negligence of another person’s actions, the family should contact a Riverside Personal Injury attorney who has been successful in product defect cases and can advise them about their legal rights and options.

A day that started off with fun and laughter for a family ended tragically.
Eight people heading to Lake Perris to have a family picnic were involved in a tragic accident on Interstate 60 on the 4th of July. The driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over.
The California Highway Patrol believes the accident could have been caused by a tire failure. They reported that two children, a 14-year old girl and a 5-year old boy were thrown from the vehicle. They were not wearing seat belts and were killed. Riverside County firefighters had to cut through the vehicle to rescue the survivors trapped inside.
Five of the eight passengers were children. Three victims sustained critical injuries, two had minor to moderate injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital.
The accident is under investigation. If it is determined that the tire had a manufacturer’s defect, the family may be able to file a lawsuit against the manufacturer. I suggest they consult with an experienced Riverside County Personal Injury attorney who can investigate the case for them.
