In a nearby county, a 32-year old worker was killed when he was electrocuted while disassembling a chimney on the roof. He accidentally touched overhead wires with a piece of metal.

The man was found not breathing and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Statistics show that electrical workers are involved and killed in workplace electrical accidents too often.

This accident is under investigation. Officials are trying to determine if he realized how close he was to the power lines and the dangers at risk – how it could have been prevented.  Employers are required to provide training to their workers. Homeowners, on the other hand, are responsible for providing a safe environment for all workers.

If your family member died ‘on the job’, contact an experienced Riverside Personal Injury attorney who will help you explore the possibilities for filing a claim against the negligent party because California workers compensation benefits do not always cover all expenses.
