The California Highway Patrol reported recently that a 28-year old Banning man died when he crashed into another car and then a tree early one morning. A man died at the scene.
Police are investigating what happened to make the man to lose control of his vehicle. It is unclear if the other driver was injured. My condolences go out to the family of the man that died.

Thousand Palms was the scene of a chemical spill recently which left two individuals with injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. A residential pool cleaning vehicle crashed early the other morning, spilling about 35 gallons of chemicals on the road.
The California Highway Patrol closed all lanes of Varner Road for several hours so a hazmat team could clean up the spill. The accident is under investigation. I would suggest that the two injured people seek the advice of an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to make sure they are compensated for their injuries and expenses that occurred because of this accident.

According to The Press Enterprise, a 29-year old woman, was killed in Hemet when a minivan, driven by 43-year old man, crashed into her head-on. Internal injuries caused her to die at the scene. The driver of the minivan had three small children, ages, 4, 3 and 1 in his vehicle– they were not injured.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident to see what caused the man to crash into the woman. They are checking to see if he was distracted by his children or if alcohol or drugs played a part in the accident. If the man is found to be at fault, he could face criminal charges for the woman’s wrongful death.
My sympathies go out to the family of the woman on their tragic loss. I would suggest the woman’s family contact an experienced Criminal Law Attorney who will investigate the accident for them and make sure the negligent party is held responsible for their loss.

A 45-year old man, ended the lives of an elderly couple (from Yucaipa) last year in Palm Springs by crashing into their car. The couple died from injuries sustained when the crash took place. The man was booked into the Banning Jail on charges stemming from the accident.
Last week, the man was charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter. It is said that the elderly couple were in Palm Springs to watch a cap to a nuclear reactor roll through the valley on a semi-truck.
I feel so sad for the family of the elderly couple.

According to The Press-Enterprise, a 31-year old woman and a 43-year old man died after crashing head-on with each other on the Ramona Expressway in Riverside. The woman, driving a Chevy pickup truck, drifted over the centerline and crashed into an oncoming Toyota driven by the man. Both died almost immediately.
California Highway Patrol records indicate that Riverside County, in 2008, had over 200 fatalities and more than 8,500 injuries due to car accidents.
This accident is under investigation to determine what caused it – numerous questions arise. If the woman was at fault, the family of the man can file a wrongful death claim seeking compensation for expenses and damages. If the vehicle manufacturer is found to be at fault, they could be responsible for all expenses and damages. I hope the man’s family contacts an experienced Riverside County Personal Injury attorney who will analyze all details of the accident. In the meantime, my deepest sympathies go out to the families of the woman and the man.
